Christine also celebrated her father’s recovery after her dad Johnny, 62, overcame his heroin addiction after decades of struggling.

Christine shared a poignant message: ‘Chapter 36. Year 35, you were incredible. Some of my highlights from last season…

‘I climbed a mountain and went on a dream vacation with my mother and my babies. My father got better.

‘I have written another book. I launched my own products in stores across the UK and released my own clothing brand

‘I made another documentary with the BBC. I went ‘on the run’ from Stand Up To Cancer with my best friend Duncan James and went on a life-changing spiritual journey making new friends on Pilgrimage.

‘I won a diversity award and a Guinness world record! And so much more that I can’t share yet. I’ve loved 35.

‘I’m even more looking forward to next season. I feel better about myself, can be more myself and certainly do more of what I enjoy.’

It comes shortly after Christine shrugged off the prospect of finding new love for herself following her split from her ex Paddy.

In 2022 it was announced that Paddy, 50, and Christine, who share three children, split after 14 years together.

Two years later, as she and Paddy are divorcing, Christine has revealed that meeting a new romantic partner is not a priority for her.

The TV personality said her life is already “full of love” and she enjoys having time for herself and being independent.

In an interview with Radio times, Christine said, “I feel like my life is full of love for my children. I am very lucky, my heart is full. I don’t think I’m missing anything.

“I will share (my life) with my children forever and Patrick will always be there as their father, but I want to have time for myself.”

Christine added, “Those nights when I’m at work and I don’t have to call anyone and say, ‘This is where I am.’

‘I want that freedom.’

Christine admitted she’s “not ready for anything serious” with a new partner during the first episode of Pilgrimage.

Christine travels to Wales for the three-part series and has already started her journey to freedom, but not away from her ex.

In the series she revealed: ‘The only life I’ve known is with Patrick and I’m not sure what my path is now that I’m on my own. I have to find out.

“Patrick and I have been divorced for almost two years now, but I don’t think I’ve fully come to terms with the divorce yet and I know I’ll have to one day.

“Everyone has hard times, everyone has challenges, but if you could just sort out all your traumas or worries and throw them away.

‘The biggest change is coming, I’m just afraid of it.’

Christine has no plans to move out of the family home she shares with the comedian as they co-parent their twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and Felicity, six, who all have autism.

Despite Paddy admitting he has gone on a few dates since the pair split, Christine revealed she is terrified of dating again.

Christine told me The sun‘s TV mag: ‘I don’t see myself getting married again. I just don’t. I’ve never had time for myself. I was with Patrick since I was 19 and now I’m single for the first time in a long time.

‘I don’t have to tell anyone where I’m going or what I’m doing. That’s so liberating and something I’m not sure I want to give away again.”

The couple now sleep in separate bedrooms at their country home in Cheshire, but they try to keep family life as normal as possible.

Christine said: ‘Not much has changed because we are a family, regardless of what is between me and Patrick. We still live in the parental home and are still raising the children together.

‘We understand what parenting is and how important it is for both of us to be in the children’s lives, so we support each other. We both want to be there equally to enjoy those moments.’
