Christine McGuinness is reportedly ‘devastated’ after her estranged husband Paddy McGuinness made her the punch line to his jokes in his new stand-up show.
The former Top Gear presenter, 51, wasted no time in making a joke to Christine, 36, just minutes into the opening night of his Nearly There tour in Blackburn following their 2022 split.
A source said The sun: ‘She was devastated yesterday and was shocked that she was being made fun of. She didn’t know Paddy would make her the butt of his jokes and was shocked that he did so.’
They added: ‘She was distraught at the idea of people laughing at her. She felt very down about this.’
Christine, who recently spoke to Strictly pro Kai Widdrington at the Pride of Britain Awards, was reportedly hurt by the public comments but vowed to stay focused on her family and career and is not interested in speaking out against anyone.

Paddy’s show, which returned after an eight-year hiatus, caused much laughter when he reportedly joked: tonight it’s all about love and respect. Lots of love in this room. I don’t care what race you are, what religion, what your sexuality is.’
The TV host continued: “I don’t care how you identify. As far as I’m concerned, you can identify as a cat. Put your litter box in the corner and knock yourself out.
He then took a cheeky swipe at his ex-partner: ‘Tonight, folks, we are all here as human beings with one common goal – and that is to help me pay for my divorce. I’ve had my pants down, me, pants down.’
The Radio 2 presenter, who was married to Christine for 11 years and is preparing to do a charity cycle ride for Children in Need, ended with: ‘I’m thinking of having Children in Need do a cycle ride for me next year, or come to a bedroom in Bolton to film me.’

The model and presenter married in June 2011 and welcomed twins Leo and Penelope, 10, and seven-year-old Felicity, before splitting in 2022.
She still lives in their £4million Cheshire home and her high-profile divorce is being handled by Harbottle & Lewis lawyer Catherine Bedford.
And while Paddy appears to be holding on to their split, Christine has seemingly moved on.

Christine was diagnosed with autism in 2021 and struggles with sensory issues around food, but explained that she had spoken to her new partner about her preferences ahead of their date.
She said: ‘I’m dating, it’s all brand new but we talked a lot before our first date and I explained that I don’t want to go to a restaurant or eat out.’
She started giggling excitedly and concluded, “It’s new, it’s exciting, it’s fun – that’s all I want to say!”
