Christine told host Steph McGovern: ‘They said I’m cool for being an author! I’ve never been called cool before.
‘I didn’t think they would get too upset because they don’t really understand my job or even dad’s job… They just don’t understand this whole show business.
‘They’re just really innocent little kids at home. They said, “That’s great, Mom, well done!” And that’s all the praise I need.
They are doing amazing. I am so proud of them. They are my biggest motivation and the reason why I do everything: I have written this book.
“I want these three children and all children to grow up in a fully inclusive world.”

Christine’s BBC documentary Unmasking My Autism will air on March 15 and explores the process of her own autism diagnosis two years ago.
In the documentary, he reveals that he stayed in his marriage to his ex Paddy because he felt ‘safe’ at the time and that he ‘doesn’t like change’.
The 34-year-old mother of three recounted how abusive previous partners, and even an alleged rape, as well as her autism left her longing for the safety she found with Paddy.
She said she felt safe when she met the presenter, now 49, when she was 19.
But after her autism diagnosis two years ago, she realized she had masked her feelings.
She explained: ‘My relationships before I met Patrick weren’t very good. I would say they were pretty bad experiences.
‘Before Patrick, I had been sexually abused, I was raped. She used to pray every night that I wouldn’t wake up in the morning because it was horrible.
“When I met my husband, it was a moment where I was very sure and I wonder if that’s why I stayed.”
“I know I’ve stayed somewhere where I probably wasn’t happy because it was safe and I don’t like change.”
