Christina Ricci says she was once threatened with a lawsuit over performing a sex scene on camera

Christina Ricci says she was once threatened with a lawsuit when she was younger because she “didn’t want to do a sex scene a certain way.”

Christina Ricci was optimistic about a new generation of actors during her appearance on The View on Wednesday, but couldn’t help but be reminded of how difficult it was for her as a rising star.

While chatting on the long-running daytime talk show, the 43-year-old TV and movie star recalled being threatened with legal action over a sex scene.

Although she did not share which project she had her negative experience on, Christina claimed that someone threatened to sue her over disagreements over how their sex scene should be filmed.

Talking about how things had gotten better for younger actors, like his Yellowjackets co-stars playing younger versions of the adult cast, he said, “It’s really cool.” We older ladies talk about it all the time. It’s amazing to see that they don’t necessarily have to go through the things that we did.

“They can say, ‘I don’t want to do this sex scene,’ ‘I’m not going to be naked,'” she said.

“Someone threatened to sue me once because I didn’t want to do a sex scene a certain way,” she said.

“It’s really changed,” he added of the film and television industry.

Ricci appears to have previously referenced the lawsuit, albeit with less context, in an Actors on Actors conversation with Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney for Variety.

During their conversation, she admitted that she was once threatened with a lawsuit, although she did not specify that it was a sex scene.

Previously on the segment, he said that one positive change in the industry was the decline in negative and embarrassing coverage of stars.

‘Because we have changed a lot, well, we have not changed enough, but the little things that we have changed are in the media and in society. Nobody is allowed to insult you because you are overweight,” she said.

Co-host Joy Behar thought it still existed, but Christina replied, “You don’t see that as much. I used to be the headline.

New setting: She was also surprised by the positive relationships the young Yellowjackets stars have with one another, something she didn’t. Whoopi Goldberg suggested that it was because she was surrounded by adults.

Looking Back: Christina recently expressed regret over her 1999 Rolling Stone interview and cover, which showed her in pink lingerie, when she was just 19

She also sounded surprised by the positive relationships the young actress from her hit series Yellowjackets has with each other, which she couldn’t remember having.

Whoopi Goldberg suggested that it could be because she was mostly surrounded by adults, while her current co-stars have more actors their own age to socialize with.

Recently, Christina has been reminiscing about the beginnings of her career while promoting the upcoming second season of Yellowjackets, which has already been renewed for a third season.

During a new interview with Rolling Stoneshe expressed regret over a 1999 cover shoot for the same magazine, in which she appeared in pink lingerie when she was 19 years old.
