Christina Ricci has opened up about raising her two children, nine-month-old daughter Cleopatra and eight-year-old son Freddie.

In an interview with Peoplethe actress, 42, revealed that her son still shares a bed with her, while her daughter is already sleep-trained.

“The fact that I can put her in her crib and she just go to sleep with my eight-year-old still sleeping with me is amazing,” she admitted.

Christina admitted she had a hard time trying to put Freddie to sleep for the first time.

“He screamed himself hoarsely and started banging his head against the railing of the crib,” she said.

However, her daughter adapted quite easily.

“But when we decided to try it with Cleo and see how she would react, she whimpered for about seven minutes and then lay down, grabbed her little unicorn and fell asleep,” she said.

“It was like she was ready and she wanted to do it, and it was good for her.”

Christina shares son Freddie with her ex-husband James Heerdegen and daughter Cleopatra with her husband Mark Hampton.

The Monster actress previously spoke about how she and her husband chose their child’s name on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Showwhere she recalled initially beginning with an expression of affection for their then unnamed child.

“Well, we’re going to give her a full name, aren’t we? And then the nickname is Cleo,’ she said.

Ricci then stated that she suggested a full version of the nickname as a half-hearted idea, and Hampton ended up liking the name.

She said, ‘I was like, ‘Cleopatra?’ And he said, “Yes, the full name is Cleopatra.” And I was like, “Okay, fine. Anyway, we’ll talk about this later.”

The artist added: ‘Dan [Hampton] got so excited he put it on Instagram and then the media picked up that her name was Cleopatra Ricci Hampton and so I thought, “Oh, I think her name is Cleopatra.”

Ricci went on to say that her husband then decided Cleopatra would work as a full first name while she rested after the birth of her daughter.

“I was like, ‘Well, we’ll figure this out later.’ But he found out when I was recovering,” she said.
