An OnlyFans model who spent thousands of dollars to look like Kim Kardashian shared a positive message for her Instagram followers just days before she died in hospital following a fateful cosmetic procedure.
Christina Ashten Gourkani, who passed by Ashten G online, died in the early hours of Thursday, April 20, at a California hospital, after going into cardiac arrest following her surgery. She was 34.
The social media personality had shared her latest Instagram post on Tuesday, April 18, which consisted of three selfies of Gourkani who looked strikingly like Kardashian as she posed in a yellow sports bra and tight black shorts.
The message titled “Happy Tuesday. 1,2,3′ has now become a memorial to the star, with friends and fans leaving tributes in the comments section.
Gourkani’s heartbroken family is one GoFundMe page to raise money for her funeral, which is scheduled for next week, and has also announced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Ms Gourkani, 34, who visited Ashten G online, died in the early hours of Thursday April 20 at a hospital in California, after going into cardiac arrest following her operation. While Ms. Gourkani underwent many cosmetic surgeries during her short life β all of which involved risks she would have been well aware of β her family wants answers as to why this surgery ended in tragedy.
“Her sudden and tragic death is currently under investigation… in connection with a medical procedure that took a negative turn,” they said in a statement.
Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart suddenly stops pumping blood around the body, usually due to a problem with electrical signals in the organ.

This causes the brain to become deprived of oxygen, causing patients to stop breathing and lose consciousness.
Cardiac arrests are different from heart attacks, the latter occurring when the blood supply to the heart muscle is cut off due to a clot in one of the coronary arteries.

“It is with deep sadness and an immensely heavy, broken heart that we must share the most crushing, unfortunate and unexpected passing of our beautiful, beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani,” they wrote.
The statement went on to describe the poignant moment when, at 4:30am, someone called Ms. Gourkani’s family and shouted, “Ashten is dying, Ashten is dying!”
The family spokesperson went on to describe the “living nightmare” of seeing her health deteriorate in hospital following her cardiac arrest.

As of Thursday afternoon, the GoFundMe has raised $4,582 of its $40,000 goal.
Fellow OnlyFans model Mary Magdalene paid tribute to Ms Gourkani on Instagram.
Magdalena, a plastic surgery addict who once nearly died trying to get “the world’s thickest vagina,” wrote of Ms. Gourkani, “I don’t know her, [but] I would always randomly see her on Instagram and think she was really beautiful, but it’s so sad that she just died from plastic surgery.”
