The 52-year-old actress – who has 13-year-old Sadie Grace – has urged fans to ‘unfollow’ her on social media if they disagree with her over the reaction to Trump beating Kamala Harris to win a historic return to the White House for a second non-consecutive term.
She wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Why? Give me your reasons why????”

Christina is battling the chronic autoimmune disease Multiple Sclerosis, which she was diagnosed with in 2021.
Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that causes damage to the nerve pathways in the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms may include numbness, speech disturbances, problems with muscle coordination, blurred vision and severe fatigue.
In 2023, Christina said she may never perform in front of a camera again due to her battle with multiple sclerosis.
The actress reflected on what her future could look like during an interview – two years after her diagnosis Vanity fair.
“I can’t even imagine getting on set right now,” the Emmy winner told the magazine.
‘This is a progressive disease. I don’t know if it’s going to get worse,” she explained.
Adjusting to her new life as a person with multiple sclerosis has been difficult for the star, who has been acting since she was five months old.
‘With the disease MS it is never a good day. You just have little bad days.”
“There are just certain things that people take for granted in their lives that I took for granted. Going down the stairs, carrying things, that is no longer possible. It sucks.”
‘I can still drive my car short distances. I can bring food for my child. Up, never down.”
The Bad Moms actress has turned to a friend to help her care for her daughter Sadie, 13, who she shares with husband Martyn LeNoble, 55.

An administrator comes at the weekend to do what is necessary.
“I actually don’t want to be around a lot of people because I have a weakened immune system,” she explained.
‘I also don’t want too much stimulation of the nervous system, because that can be a bit too much for me. I like to keep it as calm and gentle as possible.’
The actress previously shared that she gained 40 pounds after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
“I gained 40 pounds from inactivity and medication, and I didn’t look like myself, and I didn’t feel like myself,” the Married… With Children actress said.
Applegate had to film her dark Netflix comedy Dead To Me even though her body was changing. She was so angry about the way she looked that she refused to watch the show, she said.
The star said: ‘At some point I was able to distance myself from my own ego and realize what a beautiful piece of television it was.
“All the scenes I wasn’t in were so fun to watch and experience for the first time,” the LA native continued.
The actress received her diagnosis in August 2021, just before production began on the third and final season of Dead to Me.
Iconic horror writer Stephen King described Trump’s victory as an attack on democracy.

Trump declared victory in a speech at his watch party in Florida.

Trump also pledged to “help our country heal,” insisting he would restore borders.
