Christina Applegate slammed a troll who claimed she had a job done by a “bad plastic surgeon.”

Applegate, who announced his MS diagnosis in 2021, posted a screenshot of a message he received from a troll insisting his change in appearance was not due to his battle with multiple sclerosis, but rather because he underwent surgery.

But Applegate, 51, wasn’t having it: She posted the comment on her Twitter account after laughing it off.

Applegate revealed that she caught up with the internet user after making the “unfortunate decision to see some comments” on an article about her attending the Critics’ Choice Awards with her children.

It appears that Applegate personally messaged the troll before he responded with the cruel comment.

‘Of course I told him it wasn’t nice. This was her response. What is wrong with people. I laughed by the way,” Applegate posted.

The troll replied: ‘Ms. didn’t make you look like a plastic surgeon did.’ And you are a scammer and Christi is not an Applegate (sic),” the person posted before adding: “And a bad plastic surgeon at that.”

Christina announced her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in August 2021 and has been candid about how the disease has changed her life.

In addition to impacting the filming of his Netflix series Dead To Me, MS caused a 40-pound weight gain and decreased mobility.

‘This is the first time that someone is going to see me as I am. I gained 40 pounds; I can’t walk without a cane. I want people to know that I am very aware of all of that,’ she said in a recent interview with The New York Times.

Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis during production of the show’s final season, which then took a five-month break so she could begin her treatment.

Multiple sclerosis is a disease in which the immune system wears down the protective covering of the nerves, interrupting the flow of information between the brain and the body.

Announcing her diagnosis on Twitter, she wrote: “It’s been a strange ride. But I have received so much support from people I know who also have this condition. It has been a hard road. But as we all know, the road continues. Unless some jerk blocks it.
