The EP was officially released on January 21, 2022, and received positive reviews from music critics.

Aguilera previously spoke with Billboard and told the news outlet that she was excited to produce a successor to Mi Reflejo.

“It’s been a project that I wanted to pursue for so long, but I’m so happy that it’s happening now as a grown woman,” she said.
