Christina Aguilera reveals she needed FOUR people to help her move in her gown while filming elaborate Menulog ad
Christina Aguilera has revealed what happened behind the scenes during the filming of her new opera-inspired Menulog ad.
The expensive advert, which was released Down Under in October, features the pop star and US rapper Latto performing a duet inspired by Menulog’s jingle Did Somebody Say.
During the clip, Christina, 42, and Latto, 24, are seen in dramatic opera-themed costumes as they waltz through the interior of a palace as a gaggle of servants attend to their every wish.
Speak with Today Host Sarah Abo this weekend, Christina admitted it was physically challenging to perform in her costume.
‘My dress weighed a million pounds. I had to have four people help me carry it around,” the Fighter hitmaker revealed during a backstage interview at her Melbourne show on Saturday night.

The six-time Grammy winner had only positive things to say about her co-star Latto, who performed a rap about Menulog while Christina sang operatic notes behind her.
‘Latto was great. She had a great energy to work with. So much fun, we laughed the whole time,” she mused.
Christina has gone to great lengths to promote her Australian sponsor Menulog, after wearing a custom-made handbag inspired by the delivery app ahead of her flight to Australia last week.
