Christina Aguilera was joined backstage by her biggest fan during her Las Vegas residency at the Venetian resort, which kicked off this weekend in Sin City.

On Wednesday, the Genie In A Bottle hitmaker, 43, shared photos of herself hanging out with her daughter Summer Rain, nine, just minutes before the show.

Dressed in a glamorous stage costume, Christina shared beautiful moments with her youngest child in her spacious dressing room.

In one shot, the singer puckered up for the camera as Summer Rain smiled and rested her arms on her mother's shoulders.

Although opening night went off without a hitch, Christina revealed today that she has the flu and will be rescheduling two upcoming shows.

Her doctor ordered “rest” and gave her the rest needed to share Wednesday's BTS photos with Summer Rain with her fans.

Along with their cozy mother-daughter portraits, the little girl – who Christina shares with fiancé Matthew Rutler – was also photographed saying goodbye to her mother before heading to the stage.

Christina looked every bit the glamor girl for opening night as she put on a busty show in a sparkling nude corset.

She styled the sexy swimsuit with thigh-high white leather boots and layered diamond necklaces.

Christina's blonde hair was swept to the side and twisted up at the ends to create a retro look.

While waiting for her call time, the beautiful hitmaker wore a white puffer coat that managed to hide her NSFW costume.

The chart-topper captioned the post: “Me & Mine (SNOWFLAKE EMOJI),” referring to her daughter.

Christina wowed the crowd – and social media – on Saturday night as she kicked off her residency at the brand new Voltaire Belle De Nuit at The Venetian.

So the news of her illness came as a big disappointment to fans who were planning to catch her this coming weekend.

The New York native announced the news on Wednesday in a statement she shared on her Instagram Story.

“After we welcomed you all to the New Year from the stage in LAS VEGAS. I AM WELCOMED WITH A NEW YEAR FLU!!!' she started.

“I'm sorry to announce that my two shows for this weekend will be rescheduled while I rest – and I can't wait to get back on that stage in a few weeks.

'I AM INCREDIBLY PROUD OF THIS SHOW AND GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND LOVE AFTER THE OPENING WEEKEND! SEE YOU SOON,' Christina concluded.

On opening night, Christina showed off her incredible figure after losing 40 pounds over the years with several skimpy looks.

She had more than 10 costume changes, selected by stylist Chris Horan, during the sold-out show in the “seductively cozy” 1K-seat keyhole-themed theater.

Christina previously said she “hated being super skinny” and according to Health, she started to “embrace and love my new curves.”

After years of going back and forth, she now maintains a lean and strong body while “having a booty.”

Her secret is that she has committed herself to a healthy, balanced diet and a strict exercise regimen.

When she welcomed her son Max, now 15, in 2008, she came under scrutiny for her weight gain.

Two years later, she began losing weight for her role in her 2010 film Burlesque.

However, that same year, her weight fluctuated again during a divorce from composer Jordan Bratman, 46.

After the birth of her son, she reportedly lost 40 pounds by limiting her daily food intake to 1,600 calories and following the Rainbow Diet.

As part of her diet, she sticks to a plant-rich regimen and consumes brightly colored fruits and vegetables every day.

She has since given up dieting and is now focusing on clean eating, she revealed to L'Officiel Italia in 2020.

She noted that instead of being restrictive, she tries to consume more whole foods and fewer sugary snacks.

Besides her balanced diet, she also likes to stay very active and follows an extensive workout routine to stay fit.

She reportedly enjoys yoga, boxing, strength training and cardio exercises and will workout two to five times a week, according to In Touch Weekly.

She has also trained with celebrity fitness coach Tee Sorge to integrate weight lifting and cardio to maximize calorie burn and maintain her curves.

In 2008, her trainer revealed to Glamor that she trained “until she was eight months pregnant and then started again a few months after (her son) Max was born.”

In February 2012, Aguilera spoke to Marie Claire and said that she is now at peace with her figure. She said she blocks out all the noise and only cares about feeling good about herself.

“I've been through my highs, I've been through my lows,” she said at the time. 'I've experienced the whole gamut of things in this industry. Being too thin. Be bigger. I've been criticized for being on both sides of the scale.'

Ultimately, she said the only opinion she pays attention to is her own.

“It's noise that I automatically block out,” she added. 'I love my body. My boyfriend loves my body. My son is healthy and happy, so that's all that matters to me.'

She noted that she also stopped weighing herself and limiting herself.

“When I was working on Burlesque, I lost so much weight that I was too skinny,” she said. 'I don't weigh myself; it's about how I feel in my clothes.

“What looks good on one person may not look good on another body type,” she added.

“I happen to be very confident in my own skin,” she continued. “It takes time to get to that place, but it's about embracing yourself and your body.”
