Christina Aguilera channels her film Burlesque as she poses in busty pink bodysuit for sizzling cover of Vegas Magazine to promote her residency

Christina Aguilera wowed in a figure-hugging ensemble as she channeled her 2010 film Burlesque while gracing the cover of Vegas Magazine.

The 43-year-old Genie In A Bottle hitmaker – who revealed her Las Vegas residency sparked a desire in her to write songs for a new album – struck a glamorous pose for the cover ahead of the 25th celebration anniversary of her self-titled debut album.

The artist wore a sculpted, pale pink bodysuit that was layered with a brown, fluffy jacket.

She also donned nude fishnet tights and white over-the-knee boots to complete the look – one of the outfits the singer also wears on stage during the residency.

Her platinum blonde locks were parted to the side and flowed down her shoulders in light waves.

Aguilera completed the outfit with a pair of small, sparkling earrings and dainty silver necklaces.

Her makeup was glamorous for the photo shoot and consisted of voluminous lashes and thick, black winged eyeliner.

A warm blush and contour was added to further accentuate her cheekbones, while a glossy nude shade was worn on her lips, lined with a darker lip liner for a finishing touch.

Christina looked sultry at the camera as she placed her hands on her hips for a quick pose.

The joint post was uploaded to both the publication’s main page and The Venetian Resort’s account.

The caption read: ‘As her self-titled debut album turns 25, seven-time Grammy Award winner Christina Aguilera (@xtina) connects with fans through the most personal creative endeavor of her career: an intimate and seductive Las Vegas residency at The @VenetianVegas new Voltaire Belle de Nuit…’

The pop star began the residency late last year in December and is expected to end in March.

A quote from Aguilera was also added: “The most exciting part of this Vegas venture is the opportunity to connect with fans on a more intimate level.”

“Voltaire allows me to be closer to my fans than ever before, where I can interact with audiences up close and personal, creating memorable experiences not only for them, but for myself.”

The post also included two photos of Christina performing on stage during the residency while sporting two fashionable ensembles.

While speaking to Vegas Magazine for the recent article, the mother of two opened up about her residency and found inspiration to create music for a new album.

It’s been about six years since she released her last English-language album, Liberation (2018), with the singles Accelerate, Fall in Line and Like I Do.

While performing has always been at the top of her list of passions, the Grammy winner has also found that planning the new production is also something she takes great pride in working on with her team.

“The creative direction of the show is a true labor of love, drawing inspiration from a variety of sources: the lights of Vegas, the glitz of Voltaire, my music, fashion, burlesque, creative Parisian nods and more,” she said of what has been incorporated in the final product on stage.

“I always try to push my artistic boundaries and do things I’ve never done before to always offer something new and fresh, giving the audience a unique experience,” she explained.

It seems that all the artistic creativity that went into the residency has sparked an inner calling to get back into the studio to write and record new songs for a new album.

While speaking to Vegas Magazine ahead of the recent feature film, the mother of two opened up about how her residency inspired the singer to write songs for a new album.

‘I’ve been busy experimenting with new sounds and writing. A lot has happened in the last six years: huge personal and professional changes, growth and new inspiration, so I’m so excited to share it all in the next album!’ she stated; seen in December 2023

With everything she’s accomplished after 25 years in the music business, you’d think there wasn’t much, if anything, left on her career bucket list. But think again.

“My bucket list is constantly evolving,” the New York City native revealed. “Currently there are a few collaborations I’d like to explore with other musicians I’m a fan of.”

They would also like to venture into another passion project outside of music in the near future.

‘I’m the co-founder of Playground (a sexual wellness personal care brand for women), and I feel so incredibly inspired to find new ways to be part of something where I can explore new creative and business avenues .’

Aguilera returns to the Voltaire Belle de Nuit stage for shows on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, followed by a few more on March 1 and 2.
