Christie Brinkley’s model daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook enjoys a cigarette in New York City

Sailor Brinkley Cook looked fresh as she stepped out of a New York City building to smoke a cigarette.

The 24-year-old model, who spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail about her latest ad campaign, was dressed casual in a black puffer over a red hoodie and black yoga pants.

She wore white slippers on her feet and had her blonde hair pulled back into a high ponytail.

Silk’s spokesman had a tote bag on one arm and his phone was held in his hand as he huffed.

The daughter of Sports Illustrated model Christie Brinkley sported a thin gold band on her middle finger.

Last month, the model debuted in Silk Nextmilk’s plant-based beverage campaign.

It reflects his mother Christie’s Got Milk? ad from the 1990s where the blonde bombshell sported a white mustache.

Sailor spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com about her own announcement last month. “She’s the next generation,” the Instagram favorite shared. “I’m proud to be a part of this, I love this opportunity.”

Her mum, who celebrated turning 69 early last month, also took to Instagram to praise her mini-me daughter: ‘You’re great with that stash! Beautiful! And the stash of Silk you brought home was DELICIOUS!!

Sailor, whose father is Christie’s ex-husband Peter Cook, said he feels the ad is already iconic.

“It’s amazing to be part of an ad campaign with so many other next-generation stars, I love being in their company,” he told DailyMail.com.

Those others are Brooklyn Peltz Beckham (her parents are David Beckham and Victoria Beckham), Ella Bleu Travolta (her parents are John Travolta and the late Kelly Preston) and Myles O’Neal (along with the Shareef brothers, Me’Arah, Shaqir and Amirah: her father is the great basketball player Shaq O’Neal).

“It’s a fresh new look,” he added.

“The campaign is inspiring the next generation of milk drinkers and plant enthusiasts.”

It is made from plants but tastes like milk, with 75% less sugar.

“This is a new announcement for the next generation, a generation that appreciates and knows the importance of a plant-based lifestyle, it is a sign of the times.”

Christie, as well as Kelly Preston, David Beckham, Shaquille O’Neal and others starred in a famous dairy campaign 30 years ago.

Now some of her children are in the spotlight, talking to the next generation about Silk Nextmilk, made from plants but tastes like milk, and introducing a plant-based “stache.”

Sailor also said: ‘I think those [Got Milk?] Ads are so iconic, and bringing that into this new plant-based world and having these amazing alternatives is so much fun.

“I think my mom is so iconic too, so anything I can do in my life to make her proud is exciting to me.”

As for her own modeling career, she says she’s enjoying it: ‘It’s been a great experience working in modelling, I’m grateful for the opportunities, it’s a pleasure to be invited into this world.’
