The seemingly ageless beauty also wore red lipstick as she completed her look with a pair of pristine white pumps.

Brinkley attended the event where four Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover models were unveiled: Kate Upton, Chrissy Teigen, Hunter McGrady and Gayle King, making her SI Swimming Issue debut at age 69.

Brinkley is of course no stranger to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, making history with her three consecutive covers in 1979, 1980 and 1981, which had never happened before.

The legendary model announced on Instagram in mid-March that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer.

β€œThe good news for me is that we caught basal cell carcinoma early,” she began in her Instagram post.

β€œAnd I had amazing doctors who removed the cancer and stitched me up to perfection like a haute couture Dior,” she added.

She then addressed her more than 900,000 followers and revealed that they can avoid her fate with a simple solution.

‘The good news for you is that this can all be avoided by being careful with your sun protection!’ she said.

“I got serious a little late, so now for this old mermaid/gardener, I’m going to slather on my SPF 30, reapply as needed, wear long sleeves and a wide-brimmed hat,” she said.

‘And do a total body check regularly…that’s a MUST! β€œI was lucky enough to find mine because I accompanied one of my daughters to HER check-up,” she said.

‘The doctor looked at each freckle with a magnifying glass… it wasn’t my appointment so I wasn’t going to say anything, but at the end I asked if he could just look at a little dot that I could feel while I applied my foundation,” she said.

‘He took one look and knew straight away that a biopsy was needed! He did it then and there!’ she exclaimed.

‘So make your own luck by making that check-up appointment today. And oil my friends!’ Brinkley said.

She then thanked Dr. Abraham, Dr. Anolik, Dr. Geronemus and Dr. Lloyd Hoffman of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.
