Christian Pulisic will miss TWO MONTHS after suffering a knee injury in Chelsea’s loss to Manchester City… as boss Graham Potter reveals a dire injury diagnosis just as the hapless USA star was in full swing form

Chelsea and USA winger Christian Pulisic is set for an extended spell on the sideline after leaving Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Man City last week with a knee injury.

Pulisic left the game on January 5 after 22 minutes and Chelsea manager Graham Potter revealed on Wednesday that the player could be out of action until March.

‘Christian [Pulisic] It’s a couple of months we think. rahim [Sterling] it’s less, hopefully less than that,’ he told reporters.

The American appeared to be hurt by a strong challenge from John Stones which could have prevented a goal, as Pulisic was holding on to a ball in the box.

Pulisic has battled injury problems throughout his Chelsea career and only started 13 league games last season.

But he seemed to be back after an impressive World Cup with the United States, having started Chelsea’s last three league games before being replaced against City.

The winger has one goal and two assists in all competitions this season.

He posted identical stats during the USA’s round of 16 in Qatar, as he played a hand in all of the team’s goals and was unlucky enough to hit the crossbar against England as well.
