Christian Porter’s high-flying attorney fiancé showed off her diamond engagement ring as the couple announced plans to expand their separate legal empire.
The couple in love smiled happily for the cameras on Saturday night as they walked the red carpet at the Telethon Ball in Perth, where Ms Espiner flashed her diamond ring and accidentally showed a butterfly tattoo on her side.
Mr Porter, 52, withdrew from Scott Morrison’s politics and government in December 2021, nine months after he revealed he was the anonymous man referred to in media reports about a 16-year-old girl allegedly murdered in 1988. would have been raped.
Mr Porter denied the charge and sued ABC for libel, with the case eventually being dropped and no damages awarded to the former attorney general.
Porter’s impending marriage to Ms. Espiner will be his third after splitting up from his second wife Jennifer in 2020.
And as they celebrate their engagement, the power couple also plans to expand their legal services in Perth separately.

Mr Porter will work with respected local attorney Seamus Rafferty to form a group of attorneys working under one roof and is expected to hear serious cases in the District and Supreme Court next year.
Ms Espiner will also be spending more time in Perth after her NSW-based firm, Hugo Law Group, of which she is a partner, announced plans to expand into the Western Australian capital.
Mr Rafferty said no name had yet been found for his business venture with Mr Porter and the men would “work for themselves”, the Western Australian reported.
The couple have already been spotted wandering courtrooms in Western Australia as they watched proceedings at the Perth Magistrates Court last week.

Ms Espiner, who works in criminal defense, plans to split her time between her future husband’s hometown of Perth, Sydney and Canberra.
The pair appeared at the Telethon Ball months after they were first spotted at the swanky Coogee restaurant Mimi’s in February.
They were pictured smiling and laughing meeting friends after attending a six-hour marathon for lunch at Justin Hemmes’ eatery.
The couple has had to maintain a long distance relationship for the past year as Mr Porter is back to practice law in Perth while Ms Espiner has her law office in Sydney.

Ms Espiner was not previously involved in Mr Porter’s libel case, but offered him personal support during the difficult time.
Mr Porter, former Attorney General for Western Australia, returned to court last year and is back at his former Henley Stirling Lawyers office.
He separated from his wife Jennifer, also a lawyer, in January 2020 after 13 years with the couple – who share two children – describing it as a mutual decision.
“It’s a mutual decision and no third parties are involved,” they said at the time.
“We’ve worked hard to see what could be possible because, first and foremost, we are loving parents of two wonderful little children.”

Ms Espiner is one of Sydney’s most powerful lawyers and was named Criminal Law Partner of the Year at the 2020 Lawyers Weekly Awards.
