Christian Oliver's wife Jessica Klepser breaks her silence following the tragic deaths of Indiana Jones actor and the couple's two daughters in a plane crash
Christian Oliver's wife Jessica Klepser and her family released an emotional statement Friday, a day after a plane crash claimed the lives of Christian and their two daughters. Instagram page of Wundabar Pilates, where Jessica works as the company's regional manager California branch.
The company's owner, Amy Jordan, was the first to make the heartbreaking announcement, saying, “It is with an extremely heavy and broken heart that I share this news” to her more than 17 million followers.
Jessica, who was in Los Angeles at the time of the tragedy, wrote: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash on January 4, 2024 that took the lives of our beloved family members.”
'Our daughters, Madita (12) and Annik (10), were returning from a holiday in the Caribbean with their father Christian when the single-engine plane they were traveling on suffered engine failure and fell into the ocean.
“Unfortunately, all four passengers on the small plane did not survive.”

The Indiana Jones actor, whose real name is Christian Klepser, 51, and two daughters, Madita and Annik, had arrived on their Caribbean vacation on December 26, officials said.
They were at the end of their journey before boarding the doomed flight.
The plane took off from JF Mitchell Airport in Bequia, an island in the Grenadines, en route to St. Lucia.
However, moments after takeoff, pilot Robert Sachs radioed the tower to let them know the plane was experiencing difficulties and that he was returning, the St. Vincent-based news outlet reported. Searchlight reported.
Communications were soon lost before the plane's nose nose dived into the waters of the Caribbean Sea and crashed around 12:11 p.m. Sachs also died in the crash.
The single-engine, fixed-wing plane owned by Sachs crashed between Bequia and the smaller island of Petit Nevis near the southern community of La Pompe, the news station reported.
Some local fishermen who were at a nearby fishing complex when the plane crashed ran to help before SVG Coast Guard members arrived on the scene, officials said.
It was reported that the fishermen had located the plane, which is believed to have sunk about 75 feet into the ocean.
Two divers had recovered the bodies of the deceased which were transported to the mainland of Saint Vincent and taken to Kingstown Mortuary where post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Jessica remembered each of her children in the social media post as the family requested privacy during this unimaginable and painful time.
“A vibrant seventh grader at Louis Armstrong Middle School, Madita was known for her lively spirit and excelled in academics, dance, singing and performing.
“Annik, a fourth-grade student at Wonderland Ave Elementary School, was recognized for her gentle yet strong attitude. She was always the first with a kind word or a reassuring hug. Her passions included basketball, swimming and various forms of art.
“The deep bond, infectious laughter and adventurous spirit that Madita and Annik share will be deeply missed in their communities.
“Their devoted mother, Jessica, survives the girls. They also leave behind their grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins in Germany.
'Christian, an actor in Europe and the US, and a real estate agent with a wide network of close friends around the world, is survived by Jessica, his parents and sister in Germany. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.”
Instead of flowers: a GoFundMe was created to help Jessica and her extended family during this distressing time.
“Your donations will help cover the costs of Christian and the girls' return home, funeral and memorial services, and legal fees,” organizer Sarah Silverman wrote in part.
Saturday morning, more than $58,000 was donated toward the $100,000 goal.

During his career, Oliver has appeared in major films like Speed Racer and Valkyrie and recently had a role in the latest installment of the Indiana Jones franchise.
The German-born native came to the United States at the age of 21 to pursue a modeling and acting career. He was a successful actor and had over 60 credits on his IMDb page.
One of his first roles in the US was a lengthy stint in Saved by the Bell: The New Class in 1995. He also appeared as a character in the popular video game Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.
Oliver will appear in the upcoming film Forever Hold Your Peace, which he also produced, having filmed his final scenes on December 20.
