Christian McCaffrey’s fiancee Olivia Culpo teases wedding ‘countdown’ as model prepares to marry 49ers star

San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey could soon tie the knot after his fiancée Olivia Culpo revealed the ‘countdown’ to their wedding has begun.

The running back has been dating the Sports Illustrated model for almost five years and McCaffrey proposed in April 2023.

Now Culpo, the 2012 Miss Universe, has dropped a huge hint that the big day isn’t far away.

“The countdown has begun,” Culpo, 31, said People. ‘It’s happening.’

“I’m looking forward to marrying my best friend,” she said. “I’m very excited for that next chapter and I feel very happy. He’s a great guy.’

Culpo and McCaffrey have been dating since 2019, when the running back played at Carolina

Culpo has previously given fans hints about what to expect on the wedding day. In March, she said she wanted the couple’s golden toy doodle Oliver Sprinkles to be part of the ceremony.

“I really want him to be the ring bearer,” she wrote.

The model recently said that deciding on the guest list is “by far the hardest part” of planning the wedding.

“It’s just complicated logistically,” she told People.

“Figuring out what everyone’s going to wear, figuring out, figuring out where everyone’s going to stay, making sure everyone’s happy.”

McCaffrey played a starring role as the 49ers reached the Super Bowl in February, but San Francisco lost in overtime to the Chiefs.
