Chrissy Teigen wows in lavender cut-out outfit

Chrissy Teigen showed she can rock any style from any decade when she slipped into a lavender sequined ensemble for a 1970s party she attended with husband John Legend.

The pair documented their night out on the disco floor with a slew of photos and videos that they posted to their Instagram pages.

The model and television personality exuded the glitz and glamor of the era as she snuggled up next to her leading man, decked out in form-fitting pants with a healthy dose of feathers down the legs from her knees down.

There were even enough feathers in the front of each pant leg that they covered most of her matching shoes in sequins.

“I would have either despised the 1970s (dancing/sequins) or flourished (drugs/jello fungi). I can’t decide…” she confessed in the caption, sharing seductive glances at each other. “Thank you @dianebuzzetta @rikkigash @alanavanderaa.”

As an added bonus, the fashionista’s pants also had a row of white fringe down the front, just below her stomach.

That fringe also hung on the matching off-the-shoulder crop top that almost looked like a bra at its petite size, helping to show off her fabulous figure.

Mind you, the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model just gave birth to their third child, a daughter they named Esti, on Jan. 13, which is just four months ago.

The mother-of-three also wore a purple feathered boa that hung from both her arms throughout the shoot and evening.

She would also wear a kind of blingy headdress with little stars over her brown locks which she wore long, straight and flowing to her waist in the front and back.

While the 44-year-old Legend wore a white suit similar to the one worn by John Travolta as Tony Manero in the hit dance drama film Saturday Night Fever (1977), it turned out he didn’t need to look further than his own closet to find it. .

“70s party last night with my queen,” the musician began in his own Instagram post, “Since time is a flat circle, my 2023 closet already had this suit.”

The You & I star was a perfect match for his wife as he wore a shiny lavender shirt that, of course, he hadn’t buttoned to his chest.

In the first video of the post, Teigen briefly looks at the camera and then quickly turns to her husband, as the two begin to share seductive glances at each other.

Finally, Legend looks at the camera, but his lady steals a few more glances before sliding her face forward.

There’s also a second clip, a boomerang, which gives a close-up view of Teigen’s face, headdress, and feathered boa, which she made sure to get into focus.

By the time the couple hit the ’70s-inspired bash, Teigen was meeting some of her friends, who she documented with a few photos that featured Meghan Mackenzie Dillon.

Dillon also spent some feathers in her fashion choice by wearing a black, red and white patterned mini dress with black feathers along the bottom, while their friend ticked off a 1970s box of wide-leg pants

While outside the party venue, the Delta, Utah native sat on the curb and struck a pose all wrapped up in her feathered boa.

In a follow-up post, Teigen shared a video of Legend sitting with some of their male friends, Luke Dillon and Mike Rosenthal, showing them laughing together.

For her third Instagram post, the former Lip Sync Battle co-host posed with her two friends in the venue and at their table they appeared to be sharing together.

It’s likely that Teigen and Legend were able to spend a night alone by using her mother, Vilailuck Teigen, as a babysitter for little Esti and her sister Luna, seven, and brother Miles, four.

The happy couple will celebrate their milestone 10th wedding anniversary on Sept. 14.
