The latest addition to the Teigen-Legend household has quite the rocking hairdo.
Chrissy Teigen, who welcomed baby Wren this month with husband John Legend via surrogate, shared a video of her baby boy sporting an adorable spiky haircut seen at a rock concert.
Teigen, 37, couldn’t resist giving the band Simple Plan a shout-out in the caption when she drew attention to her son’s jet-black hair.
‘the hair. simple plan vibrates,” she captioned the precious clip.
As it turns out, the post caught the attention of Simple Plan – who approved of Wren’s look.

‘Can confirm… this hair is pop punk perfection! Congratulations!’ noted the band.
Chrissy and John shocked fans on Wednesday by announcing Wren’s arrival in a touching Instagram post featuring adorable photos of their newborn.
The proud parents had so far not shared with fans that they are expecting another child, but filled followers in with all the details ahead of the birth in their post.
Their child was born on June 19, 2023, and his middle name was inspired by his surrogate mother, Alexandra.
Wren’s arrival comes just months after Chrissy and her husband welcomed their third child together, a daughter named Esti. The couple are also parents to daughter Luna, seven, and son Miles, four.
The happy news came almost two years after she and John lost their son Jack 20 weeks into her pregnancy. She later revealed that her late son’s death was the result of a life-saving abortion, not a miscarriage as she originally said.
In her lengthy post, Chrissy mentioned her late son Jack, describing the surrogacy process and watching Alexandra, “the most beautiful woman,” give birth to her child.
Chrissy also described going through IVF again and becoming pregnant with Esti, despite initially not wanting to carry another child after losing Jack.

They like it! The band gave the hairstyle their seal of approval
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four kids. As a little girl there were 2 glowworms and 2 puppets in my arms all the time, helping me in my fantasy kitchen, watching Alf with me. We slept together every night and all got the same number of kisses so as not to make the others jealous. My mom always looked for the Pound Puppy with 4 puppies in her pouch, she had no qualms about opening them up and peeking inside before buying.
“After losing Jack, I didn’t think I could carry any more babies on my own. To be honest, I personally blocked a lot of my way of thinking during that time, but a clear memory is being surrounded by people who wanted to make sure I didn’t go through that pain and loss again.
“In 2021, we contacted a surrogacy agency, with our initial correspondence asking if we might have two tandem surrogates, each to bring us a healthy baby boy or girl. Gemini, a little?!

Growing Family: Wren joins siblings Luna, Miles, and Esti in the Legend household
“At one point, early in our surrogacy journey, I came out of a therapy session, walked down and said to John, I want to try carrying one more time. If it doesn’t work, we’ll make it. We’ve already seen the worst. I promised it would be okay no matter what. I remember saying I couldn’t spend my whole life wondering if I should have tried again.
And so we started the IVF process again, the same process that gave us our beautiful Luna and Miles. We made new embryos. We did my transfer and were so happy to hear it worked – we were pregnant with our little girl, Esti.
“Around this time, we also met the most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine, Alexandra. I knew she was a perfect match for us the moment we spoke to her. All our wishes and dreams aligned. I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our kids to play, I wanted to eat together, I wanted to lay my head on her stomach and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives as long as time allows.
“The first embryo we tried with Alex didn’t survive and I will never forget how hard she fought to prepare for a second transfer. How much she’s given up on her own body – surgeries to have scar tissue removed, the mental toll it takes to go through all that on yourself, let alone other people.
‘Our new love’: John Legend also introduced his new son Wren to his account
“Not wanting to rush the process, we took a deep breath and… were just patient. I lay around, enjoying the first trimester of my pregnancy, with, of course, a little bit of anxiety that’s no different than any other expecting couple. As we crawled into the safe zone of my own pregnancy, we were overjoyed to learn that Alexandra had become pregnant with a little boy. Our little boy.
“We ate hot pot to celebrate, watched Vanderpump Rules with our bellies growing, our families merging into one over the past year.”
Chrissy described Wren’s birth and profusely thanked Alexandra for carrying their baby boy. His middle name, Alexander, was inspired by his surrogate’s name.
“A few minutes before midnight on June 19, I witnessed the birth of the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, in the midst of a little chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love.

“We want to thank you for this incredible gift you gave us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world that he is here, with a name that will forever be associated with you, Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts and home are officially full. And as for our Jack, we know both of their angel kisses are yours.”
John shared the good news with photos of the kid, including one of him with all four of his tykes. “Wren Alexander Stephens, our new love,” he captioned the photos.
The happy news comes nearly two years after Chrissy and John tragically lost Jack, 20 weeks into her pregnancy.
Chrissy shared the heartbreaking news shortly after the horrific experience with her Instagram followers, posting photos of herself in hospital, mourning the loss of her baby.

Not long after, she revealed that she would no longer be able to carry a child.
“I love being pregnant so very much, and I’m sad I never will be again,” she posted on Instagram.
Despite the loss, Chrissy expressed her gratitude for her other two children, both of whom were conceived through IVF.
“I’m so lucky about that,” she said People in 2021. “I just think about how blessed I already am, and there are so many ways to have a child these days…be it surrogacy or adoption.
“Accepting that I can’t carry anymore is still really hard for me because I feel so healthy. I’m like, why?
“But then I think about it, because my uterus just isn’t cooperating with me — and it’s not a failure.”
Too cute: The proud parents with Luna and Miles
In keeping with Thai tradition, the hands-on parents planted a tree in their home to honor Jack.
“It is important to us in Thai tradition that we always embrace those we have lost, and they are never gone.
“This tree being planted in the house, the whole reason I wanted it was so that Jack’s ashes could sit in that soil and he could be with us all the time and grow through the beautiful leaves in this tree,” she said.
“The way Miles and Luna talk about him is so beautiful and reminds me of when I was little with my grandpa just sitting next to my mom in a little urn next to my bed,” she said.
“It’s all beautiful, and I love that tradition is passed on.”
