Chrissy Teigen gushes about the relationship she has with her son Wren’s surrogate Alexandra saying they ‘talk all the time

Chrissy Teigen grew close to her son Wren’s surrogate Alexandra throughout their pregnancies.

The mother of four was pregnant at the same time with daughter Esti, aged seven months.

In an interview with Peoplerevealed the Cravings author, 37, that their relationship didn’t end with the birth of Wren, two months old.

“We talk all the time, all the time during a nice message. She sees all my Instagram Stories and I try to send her little behind-the-scenes photos,” the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model said.

She added, “I told her at the beginning of this journey that I wanted someone who would be there at birthday parties and throughout life.

“I wanted to meet her kids and I wanted my kids to be friends with her kids. And they really are, which is really nice to see,” she said.

‘It was a fantastic atmosphere. Going into this, she knew early on that I wanted something that was maybe a little different from what other parents do.

I also understand why they do it. Everyone has their reasons for liking things or doing things the way they do,” Chrissy said.

And she takes the same approach with her nannies, security personnel, and even her own mother.

The former Lip Sync Battle host did her research before going down the surrogate route, talking to families who had gone through the process and saying she was “just really happy it turned out that way.”

“It felt very much like a village. It was very similar to the way people in my mother’s family raised their children when they literally lived in the villages of Thailand,” Chrissy explained.

“It just feels like such good camaraderie around each other, warmth and love. I was never one of those people who believed in hoarding all this love for myself.

“I don’t get jealous when my kids love or hug someone else. To me, more love is more love and that’s what I’ve always wanted and it really worked for us. We are so lucky,” she said.

And the feeling is mutual, as Alexandra previously shared that she would be a surrogate for Teigen and John Legend, 44.

“Thank you for choosing me ❤️ For making this whole experience so amazing,” she gushed under an Instagram post of the model kissing her belly.

“Because you love me and my family with all your heart. It was truly an honor to bring the perfect Wren into the world with you by my side❤️.”

Alexandra’s response came after the model described her as “the most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate” they could “ever imagine.”

Teigen revealed on Instagram that she met Alexandra while pregnant with daughter Esti, who was born in January.

“I knew she would be a perfect fit for us from the moment we spoke to her,” said the model. ‘All our wishes and dreams aligned. I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our kids to play, I wanted to eat together, I wanted to lay my head on her stomach and feel the hiccups and kicks.”

Teigen continued, “I wanted them to stay in our lives as long as time allowed.”
