Chrissy Teigen blasts ‘n**s and t***s’ as she is criticised for ‘clueless’ interview after wearing Chelsea shirt to attend Arsenal vs Ipswich Town match with John Legend and kids
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen joined the ranks of celebrities attending Arsenal vs Ipswich Town on Friday but were slammed by football fans after an ’embarrassing’ interview.
The singer, 45, and his wife, 39, appeared to forget which teams had played when they spoke to Prime Video Sport after the match.
But fans branded the pair ‘clueless’ as they got confused, with Chrissy even wearing a Chelsea shirt during the match.
Chrissy has since blasted the ‘n**s and t***s’ who claim she knows nothing about football.
Taking to her Instagram Stories she fumed: ‘Do you know who the biggest ‘n**s and t***s’ are? The people who don’t like football as much as I do
She then shared a throwback photo of herself in a football kit before a match, adding: ‘Does this look like the face of someone who doesn’t know football?’

Speaking to the streamer earlier in the evening, John said: “This was so much fun. This is our first ever Premier League game, and we’re here for the holidays.
‘We’re having a great time. You know, my friends, I don’t know the league very well, and my friends thought: Arsenal are going to win by about six goals.
“But it was a closer game than we expected, closer than we thought.”
When asked why she supports Chelsea, Chrissy replied: “Listen, I love an underdog, and I love coming in and being surprised by how much a team can do, and I think it was so fun for us to to argue for them because everyone was on Arsenal’s side.
‘Yes, I really wanted to give them the support they needed. When you said Chelsea I thought: is Chelsea Ipswich? Don’t know.’
John continued, “We go to some LA games every now and then, the football games. And this is, you know, this is where the real football is played.
Chrissy said: “We feel spoiled to be here, especially as people who don’t understand the game and its nuances as well as anyone else. So the fact that we are allowed to be on the field…
‘We love the songs. I was always listening. I was trying to figure out what everyone was singing the whole game. But I love how well-coordinated everyone is,” John added.

Football fans shared their thoughts on X, writing: ‘John legend at the match today? Arsenal must have the most famous fans;
‘John Legend on the Emirates pitch after the match’; ‘Randomly seeing John Legend and his wife and kids in the Emirates parking lot tonight’; ‘Why is John Legend at an Arsenal match lmao’;
‘Wow, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s interview at the end of the match against Arsenal Ipswich hahahaha. Someone comes to pick up his rich American family, they try to pretend they understand British football’; ‘This John Legend family post-match interview on Amazon is chaos’;
Others added: ‘Well Prime Video Sport if you have a choice between interviewing John Legend or Ed Sheeran, next time choose the one who knew which teams were playing! What a car accident!’;
“That John Legend interview was an absolute mess…here I am a lifelong, die-hard supporter who failed to get any success in pre-match voting. Yet you have him there with the woman wearing a Chelsea shirt to an Arsenal-Ipswich match with no idea what’s going on.’
Arsenal beat Ipswich Town 1-0 on Friday thanks to a first-half goal from Kai Havertz at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said: ‘We had some big openings in the second half when we were more aggressive. We should have scored more.’
