Based on a hit UK format, WILTY features two teams trying to outwit each other with wacky stories.

Meanwhile, the studio audience and viewers at home are trying to decipher fact from fiction.

In an episode preview featured in the trailer, guest star Lambie claims that she performs a “special dance” every time she passes a new law.

The Tasmanian Senator is later seen giving a demonstration of the dance, which is called ‘the Lambie’, for the two teams.

She is then seen strutting around the studio and waving her arms, which appears to be a variation on what is popularly known as the ‘chicken dance’.

Also featured in the trailer is WILTY regular Dave ‘Hughsey’ Hughes.

The first season of Would Australia Lie to You got off to a promising start, garnering 482,000 metropolitan viewers for its premiere last March.

The original series is now on season 14 and is still going strong with viewers.
