Chrishell Stause rubbishes wild claims she was ‘paid’ to say she voted for Kamala Harris as she doubles down on her endorsement and slams Donald Trump on Election Day
Chrishell Stause has hit back at wild claims she was ‘paid’ to say she voted for Kamala Harris in the 2024 US election.
The Selling Sunset star, 43, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday night to double down on her support for the Democratic presidential candidate.
Just hours before the polls closed, she confirmed she had voted for Harris in the 2024 election.
Stause also criticized Republican candidate Donald Trump for insisting she would “never” have voted for him, making her election position very clear.
In an impassioned post she wrote: ‘You know how I voted. The accusations by some that I was in any way paid to say that are a joke.
“As in any area of any world, I would EVER vote for the one who shall not be named, that’s ridiculous.”
“Putting a man in charge of women’s health, and rolling back women’s and LGBTQ rights. Absolutely NOT,” she added.
Stause’s post came in response to some fans who wildly accused her of being “paid” to say she supported Harris in an earlier post urging people to register to vote.

The Selling Sunset star, 43, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday night to double down on her support for the Democratic presidential candidate (Harris is pictured on November 4)
On October 5, she shared a photo of herself smiling and holding up “voting paddles” as she shared the reasons why she would vote for Harris in the election.
She said on Instagram at the time: “Make sure you’re registered and ready to vote before November 5 – our rights and our future depend on it.
‘Positions on a woman’s right to control her own body and access to healthcare, IVF, contraception, Plan B, LGBTQ+ rights, lowering healthcare costs and taxing the wealthy to pay their fair share for the greater good are some of the reasons I will vote for @KamalaHarris.
“Politicians work for us, and even though I’m voting for Kamala, that doesn’t mean I support every policy she ever has or could ever make.
“It means I’ve done my research and I think she is easily the best candidate to lead our country to a better future.
“I love my country and I send you love even if we don’t agree.”
Stause wasn’t the only celebrity who went to the polls to cast her vote the country’s most historic presidential races.
A slew of famous faces took to social media to share their voting habits and encourage others to head to the polls.
Reese Witherspoon, Demi Moore, Brooks Shields, Valerie Bertinelli and Chelsea Handler were just some of the many stars who urged their fans to vote.
Stause also criticized Republican candidate Donald Trump (pictured on November 1) as she insisted she would ‘never’ have voted for him as she made her position very clear.
She wasn’t the only celebrity to head to the polls to cast her vote in one of the country’s most historic presidential races, as Julia Roberts and many others also shared statements online.
Julia Roberts also cast her vote while wearing a POTUS female T-shirt, writing, “There’s a time to hope, there’s a time to pray, and there’s time to VOTE. TODAY IS THE DAY!’
Meanwhile, Halle Berry said: “I hope you all exercised your basic voting rights today and made your voices heard! I did!’
Gigi Hadid also posed for a car selfie with her “I Voted” sticker on after voting in Pennsylvania.
And Jennifer Lopez urged followers to vote, saying: ‘Your vote is your power! Make sure every voice is heard by taking shelter with me.”
