She did this after causing controversy over a video she posted of herselfrepeatedly dropping the N-word while rapping along to Daddy’s new song Thank God I Ain’t White.
The interior specialist – who has 1.3 million Instagram followers – captioned her controversial post: ‘Black History month celebration in the glam chair!’
When several of Amanza’s followers urged her to delete the post, she defiantly stated via Instastory, “To everyone in my DMs and my comments who don’t know I’m black, I’m sorry you missed that one.” But that was exactly the intention, and you won’t please everyone.
‘I thought it was hilarious! I still find it hilarious. And I love that I can say n****. It’s in all the songs I listen to, and yes, I’m black. I am white. I’m Asian – all and I have no problem with my post. Sorry some of you do that.”
In 2020, Smith told Mixed Messages that her biological father is “actually 50% Nigerian and 50% a lot of different things, including Asian, Native American and European.”
The former Deal or No Deal briefcase model was raised by her white mother and white stepfather, and she had no black friends until she attended Indiana State University.
Amanza has two children: daughter Noah, 13; and son Braker, 12 – from her two-year marriage to retired NFL corner Ralph Brown, which ended seven years before he went missing in August 2019.
