Television producer Chris Walker breaks his silence about the separation of the couple Carrie Bickmore after 11 years: “It’s a difficult time”
Carrie Bickmore’s former partner Chris Walker has released a statement about his split from The Project host after 11 years together.
Walker, who is the executive producer of ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, shared a post on Instagram Wednesday that was almost identical to the one Bickmore uploaded that morning.
Echoing her sentiments, she said the couple were now focused on raising their three children, Ollie, 15, Evie, seven, and Adelaide, four.

“It is with immense sadness that @bickmorecarrie and I have decided to part ways,” Walker began.
“While this is a difficult time, our goal is to focus on nurturing, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we have. They are doing very well.
“We will have no further comment at this time.”
Walker, who is the executive producer of ABC’s The Weekly, shared a post on Instagram Wednesday that was almost identical to the one Bickmore uploaded that morning.
Bickmore shared a similar statement on his Instagram page, announcing his split from Walker.
While the news shocked fans, Bickmore, who was pictured with her children on the Byron Bay beach just weeks ago, had hinted at her private struggles in a farewell letter to The Project’s hair and makeup team after leaving. the program in November.
In a handwritten note to her glam squad, the mother of three thanked them for getting her through some of the toughest times in her life.
‘To my hair and makeup family. Shit, I’m already crying,’ the letter began.
‘You have held my hand through some of the most difficult days of my career. They hear it all, they see it all and they share it all with me and I can’t explain how much I’m going to miss them all.’
“There is an unspoken bond between all of us and please never forget how special everyone is.”
I know this is not goodbye, just goodbye for now. I love you all, Carrie.

The Project said goodbye to Bickmore on November 30, when he left the Channel 10 panel show after an impressive 13 years.
He thanked his friends, colleagues, and viewers at the end of the broadcast, as well as Walker, who was sitting in the studio audience with her children.
‘Is it too late to change your mind?’ she said, fighting back tears.
‘For Chris. Thanks for everything. Your guidance and advice over the years, your amazing production skills…’ he added.
‘This show has given us a lot. We wouldn’t have our beautiful little prophets if it weren’t for The Project.’
