“I was wrong about Harry Maguire!”: Sportsmail’s Chris Sutton raises his hands over the England centre-back, who said he should have stayed HOME… but awaits his “most severe test” against Senegal, at WORLD CUP CONFIDENTIAL

England’s match against Senegal will be the toughest test of Harry Maguire’s World Cup campaign so far, according to sports mail Chris Suton.

The defender has enjoyed a positive tournament so far after doubts over his place in the team following a slump at Manchester United club that saw him lose his place in the starting XI and fall down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

Sutton admitted he was wrong to say Maguire should not have been in the England squad, but warned the 29-year-old will have to be on his game to deal with Senegal’s attack at Al Bayt Stadium today.
