Chris Pratt doesn’t understand actors who have a “bad attitude” on the set of movies and TV shows.
“It sucks when people have crappy attitudes. So when you show up on set, there’s no reason why you…,” he said during a panel for The Electric State at New York Comic-Con this weekend, per People.
“Like, ‘Oh, are you having a hard time making your dream come true? Is that hard for you today?’ Come on and get your head out,” he said. ‘Have fun.’
But the Parks and Recreation actor had high praise for his co-star Millie Bobby Brown, 20, who was also on the panel, and her attitude during filming, calling her ‘incredible’. The panel also included their directors, Joe and Anthony Russo.
“Look, these guys can attest to this because they’re the same way, there’s no room for a bad attitude there,” said Pratt as he talked about his experiences with people with “bad attitudes.”

“You can’t have a bad… you can’t have a bad attitude about making movies, it ruins everything for everyone, and then you don’t last long.”
He turned to Millie again to praise her and talk about how much fun they had filming the upcoming Netflix movie.
“And she’s just incredible,” Pratt said of Brown. “She was surrounded by all these animals.
“She’s like, they scream ‘cut’ and she goes to her house and she finds a home for, like, a pygmy goat that needs to be adopted and organizes a U-Haul full of pit bull puppies to be brought to Indiana,” explained he out. .
“Like she has such a big heart, such a love for animals,” he said. “And so we had a great time. We became friends quickly, and you can’t get rid of me,” he joked. ‘Sorry.’
Electric State stars Millie as Michelle, “an orphaned teen who navigates life in a society where sentient robots resembling cartoons and mascots, who once served peacefully among humans, now live in exile after a failed uprising,” according to Netflix -synopsis.
She is looking for her younger brother Christopher with a sweet robot as a companion.
‘As they venture into the Exclusion Zone, a walled corner in the desert where robots now exist independently, says Keats [Pratt] and Michelle find a strange, colorful group of new animatronic allies.
“…and begin to discover that the forces behind Christopher’s disappearance are more sinister than they ever expected,” it continued.
The film also stars Jason Alexander, Ke Huy Quan, Giancarlo Esposito and Stanley Tucci. It also features the voices of Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Hank Azaria, Colman Domingo and Alan Tudyk.
During the panel at New York Comic Con, Pratt also revealed that he had to ask his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt for permission to film Electric State.
‘I was planning on taking some time off to be at home and then I read this script and I was like, “ahhhhh f**k, I think I have to make this movie.” It was so good and opportunities like this don’t come along very often.
The Electric State star, 45, spoke on a panel at New York Comic Con this weekend to promote the upcoming film, which also stars Millie Bobby Brown, 20.

“I was planning on taking some time off to be at home and then I read this script and I was like, ‘ahhhhh f**k, I think I have to make this movie.'”
“It has themes that are so resonant and important to today’s technology and humanity. So it’s just a special movie and when something like that comes on the market, you have to do it,” the Guardians of the Galaxy actor continued.
‘It’s so original, it’s a huge swing, and I thought maybe this was… I don’t know… maybe my last chance to be in a big movie like this [and] I have to look at every opportunity this way,” Chris said.
‘It was just such an amazing story, I was moved to tears when I read it, and I will be when you see the film. You will see that it is an incredible story, it is so beautiful, it is so original,” he added.
The Electric State will premiere on Netflix on March 14, 2025.
