Chris Paul and referee Scott Foster continued their long-running feud Wednesday night when the Warriors point guard was ejected in the second quarter.

After arguing with Foster over a bad call, Paul was assessed a first technical foul before his continued protests saw him kicked out of the match against the Suns.

And the NBA veteran lost his cool and called Foster a ‘b****’ when teammate Stephen Curry intervened to remove him from the situation.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr was also assessed a technical foul for questioning the decision to throw Paul out of the game.

Golden State entered the half trailing Phoenix 63-47.

Aside from Wednesday night, Paul and Foster have a lot of history together.

Before his Suns team won Game 2 in the first round against the Clippers last season, Paul had lost 13 straight playoff games in which Foster was the head referee.

Paul has drafted Foster several times over the years, including in 2018 during his time with the Rockets.

“Yes, Scott Foster at his best,” Paul said after a regular-season win in which he was assessed a technical foul. ‘You know what I mean? He just never fails.

‘Some of them [the referees]you can [communicate] of. You just have to figure out who you can and can’t do.”

And according to ESPNbefore a Game 7 with the Thunder in 2020, Foster curiously reminded Paul that he officiated his Game 7 loss with the Hornets against the Spurs in 2008.

Paul, 38, arrived in Golden State via trade this season.

He is averaging 9.8 points and 7.7 assists in a reserve role off the bench.
