Chris Hemsworth reveals his New Year’s resolutions for 2024 as he makes ‘lifestyle changes’… amid claims he and wife Elsa Pataky have ‘drifted apart’

Chris Hemsworth has shared his New Year's resolutions for 2024.

The Hollywood heartthrob, 40, revealed he continues to prioritize health and fitness, but with a structured approach to goal setting.

Via Instagram, the Thor: Love and Thunder star plugged into his Centr fitness app before sharing an important message and tapping into the 'new year, new me' trend.

'Happy New Year everyone. As I sit here with my family and friends in early 2024, it really got me thinking about the 'new year, new me' mentality going around social media and I have some thoughts,” he said in the video.

'We as a society must work on our goals step by step and never in absolute figures. Flipping a switch and setting yourself up as the calendar changes will never be a sustainable way to achieve your goals. It's just a quick way to get discouraged.”

Chris added: 'The only way to make consistent progress is to make easy lifestyle changes until they become your new habit, your new routine.'

The actor then stated his goals for this year, which include tasks like increasing breathing in his workouts, using meditation for stress relief, and managing better sleep for faster recovery.

“I'm going to put more breathwork into my training, more meditations, better sleep exercises, and finally more functional movements into my exercises,” he announced.

“By making lifestyle changes in small steps, we can all live our best lives in 2024.”

Chris's post comes amid reports that he and his wife Elsa Pataky have “drift apart as a couple.”

The genetically blessed duo, who have been married for more than a decade, recently revealed that all was not well in paradise after they vacationed separately.

A source close to the couple told In Touch magazine that despite maintaining a united front for their family and spending Christmas together, the duo have been growing apart for some time.

“By making lifestyle changes in small steps, we can all live our best lives in 2024,” he said

“The status of Chris and Elsa's marriage is a question mark,” the source told the publication.

'The individual holidays are a big warning, but it is more than that. They are still a close family, but as a couple they have grown apart.'

The source claimed that Chris wants to live a “simpler life,” but “Elsa wants more.”

“They were the perfect husband-and-wife team for so long – both beautiful, beautiful children. Everything seemed beautiful. But things have definitely changed,” she added.
