Chris Hemsworth debuts his friendship with Ed Sheeran as the ‘trading tools’ couple in a backstage clip at his Brisbane concert
Ed Sheeran and Chris Hemsworth debuted their surprise friendship with a very cheeky Instagram video.
The clip shows Chris, the Thor star, joking around with Ed backstage at the British singer’s concert in Brisbane on Saturday night.
Ed, who is on the Australian leg of his Maths world tour, handed Chris his guitar while the actor gave him an accessory resembling Thor’s hammer in return.
“So basically, I like trading trading tools for trading tools,” the Shape of You hitmaker said in the clip.
‘I’m going to give one of my guitars in exchange for someone else’s tool.’

Chris came on screen and declared, ‘I’m also going to change tools. I have a tool I’m going to pass on.
Ed then traded one of his stage guitars for Chris’s Thor hammer, before they each signed their autographs on the items.
“I think we should trade professions because I think it would make a better [Thor]’ Ed joked.
Ed, who is on the Australian leg of his Maths world tour, presented Chris with his guitar while the actor gave him an accessory that resembles Thor’s hammer in return.
Chris seemed very pleased with the exchange as he played Ed’s guitar.
“Just an instrumental exchange between two guys,” Chris captioned the post.
‘Ed Sheeran, I’ll make this guitar sing like no other and you’ll swing that hammer with all your soul. I love you brother!’

Liam’s friend Paul Barrie O’Brien, an aviation mogul who flies celebrities on his private jets, shared an Instagram snap of the trio behind the scenes enjoying a few beers.
