Chris Cuomo stuns podcast host Patrick Bet-David by revealing who he voted for

Chris Cuomo admitted that he kept his family vote on Election Day by writing to his brother Andrew instead of voting for Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.

The NewsNation host admitted “I probably shouldn’t tell you,” but relented when podcaster Patrick Bet-David asked him about it.

‘I voted for my brother. I registered him. Let me show you the picture,” he said, as Bet-David asked credulously over and over again.

Cuomo’s brother, Andrew, is the now disgraced governor of New York who was forced to resign in 2021.

Bet-David tried to corner the younger Cuomo on why he wrote in his brother instead of Harris.

“My feeling is this: America can do better than these two candidates. I’m not a Trump fan and I’m not a Democrat. I think this country can do better.

He then addressed what he said was the unfair treatment of Trump’s MAGA fanbase, despite not voting for the Republican.

“I think the movement behind Trump is very real, there is no respect for it and I think that is problematic for America.”

‘I have no problem with people who see him as a problem and want someone else, I understand that. For me, I just believe the choices are below the standard of American leadership. I believe we have much better people to choose from.”

The host asked if Andrew Cuomo knew how his brother voted and Chris confirmed that he did.

“He just said… yes. He says that about most things. He had other things he wanted to talk about.

Though considered a generally liberal talk show host on CNN, Cuomo has moved closer to the center since joining NewsNation.

He had harsh words for Democratic hypocrisy toward Harris, whom liberals began treating as “black female Jesus.”

The NewsNation host spoke out on his podcast against Democrats’ idolization of the nominee.

He complained that the Liberals “didn’t even like her six months ago!” Now suddenly she is a black female Jesus [Barack Obama] was Black Jesus.”

Cuomo then disparaged Harris compared to the former president, saying he “has a lot more going for him” than she does.

“He was imbued with things she is not. And I don’t mean that as criticism. It is just a point of comparison,” he claimed.

The former CNN host then addressed how Harris became the nominee after Biden dropped out.

“And her process f***s her too. There is an ease in it, but it also bothered her because there are many doubts about her. “There’s an underlying feeling that she didn’t take this the right way, that maybe she didn’t win a primary,” he said.

He then admonished liberals for refusing to criticize Harris because they feared it would throw the election in Trump’s hands.

‘I don’t buy that, and that doesn’t get you to a better place. It is a relative assessment. She has negative points. He does that too. Does he have more? Yes. He also has a much more intense following. That’s why this race is so exciting,” he said.

He then claimed that liberals want to “write off half of this country as bigots” to explain why the race is so close.

‘Maybe you’re not as right about everything as you think. Maybe you should be a little more open to the people you disagree with. Maybe they’re not all racists,” he said.
