Chloe Sims, 42, reveals the TRUTH behind romance with Lionel Richie’s son Miles, 29, and the glamorous night they met at an Emmys party with Megan Fox

Chloe Sims has revealed she ‘sees what happens’ with ‘handsome’ Miles Richie after he bumped into her at an Emmys party.

The House of Sims star, 42, was pictured holding hands with Lionel Richie’s son, who is 13 years her junior, in February after the pair were reportedly spotted ‘passionately kissing’ at a Los Angeles nightclub.

Despite admitting Miles is ‘fun’ and ‘really nice’, Chloe has confirmed she is still ‘single’, although her romance with the singer has opened her eyes to settling down with a younger man.

In an exclusive interview, Chloe told MailOnline that Miles approached her at an Emmys party, which was attended by Megan Fox, 37, as well as Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, 76, who the TOWIE star joked was “more into her age category.’

After moving from Essex to LA, Chloe says she’s enjoying delving into a wider dating pool, admitting on TOWIE that she’s only had romances with men she would never consider dating ‘in the real world’ to be together.

She said: ‘Miles is very sweet, very kind and very nice, he is very handsome, but my status is single and I have nothing serious. We see what happens.

‘I’ve been in the UK for six weeks now and if I were asked on a date here I wouldn’t say no, so I’m definitely single. I don’t want to get attached to one person right now. I want the next person I’m really serious with to actually want to settle down. I want to be with my person.

“I met Miles at an Emmys party, it was a sit-down dinner, I was Vas Morgan’s plus 1 and they’re friends.

“To be honest, I was minding my own business because Aerosmith was there, Steven Tyler, and I was like, ‘he’s more in my age range!’ Megan Fox was there too.

‘I was minding my own business, but he came and sat with me. I did know he was Lionel Richie’s son, yeah…embarrassing, I had a few drinks and I accidentally introduced him to someone else as ‘Richie’. I said, ‘This is Richie,’ and he said, ‘My name is Miles. ..’And I died inside.’

Miles is the son of superstar Lionel and his ex-wife Diane Alexander, while the former couple also share daughter Sofia Richie, 25.

The artist’s older sister Nicole, 42, is Lionel’s adoptive daughter. He and his ex-wife, Brenda Harvey Richie, took her in when she was just three years old, after her biological parents decided the couple would take better care of her.

Chloe, who has a 19-year-old daughter, Madison, has dated a handful of her former co-stars, including Elliott Wright, 44, Dan Edgar, 33, and Pete Wicks, 36.

She says that seeing a man thirteen years younger than her is nothing unusual in Los Angeles.

The mother of one is tired of being defined by her age and sees nothing wrong with romanticizing Miles, or any man, younger than her.

She said: ‘What I’m saying is… in LA I’ve seen a lot of relationships where women date younger men, so I’m not going to discount younger men.

‘A lot of women are absolutely beautiful, and they have younger men. In the UK I would have reservations about dating someone younger, but they are much more open-minded there.

‘I’ve felt like my age has really limited me for pretty much the entire time I’ve been on TOWIE, so it’s time to think more openly.’

In keeping with her fresh start, Chloe says she only tells potential suitors her first name and hopes they won’t look her up online.

And being miles away from Essex, she is grateful to have brand new men so far, while rejecting her former TOWIE love interests.

She added, “Dating in LA is definitely more fun, it’s really entertaining because people really don’t know anything about me, and I never give out my last name for fear they’ll Google me.”

She has since fallen out with her sisters Frankie and Demi Sims, who also appear in the series, and the once close-knit family has not spoken in the past six months.

Speaking of her sadness at the fallout, she said: ‘It was really heartbreaking to hear some of the things they said to me and I really didn’t expect it… I was shocked to be honest.

“They’re obviously my little sisters, but things that have happened and things that have been said, I’m not going to repeat them, but things have hurt me deeply.”
