Chipotle is bringing back a favorite menu item and customers are loving it.
The Mexican fast casual joint is reintroducing Smoked Brisket to select restaurants in the US and Canada.
“We listened to our guests and after three years we are bringing this beloved menu innovation out of the vault,” Chief Brand Officer Chris Brandt said Tuesday.
“This premium protein is sure to please guests who want to taste the difference of beef brisket prepared the Chipotle way.”
The brisket will not become a permanent menu item, but will return for a limited time only.

However, no date has yet been set when the item will be unavailable again.
Fans, who have been calling on social media for Chipotle to serve brisket again, responded enthusiastically to the news.
“I’ve been saying for so long they need to bring back the Brisket,” one customer wrote on Reddit.
“Hopefully it stays around for more than a month!” the user added.
“ATTENTION!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL, CHIPOTLE HAS NEW MEAT. SMOKED BRISKET,” shouted another on X.
“Chipotle now has smoked brisket. I know what I’m having,” another user added.
For Chipotle customers trying the Smoked Brisket for the first time, Nevielle Panthaky, the chain’s Vice President of Culinary, recommends a Smoked Brisket Burrito Bowl with white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa and cheese.
