Chinaware commemorating the life of the late Queen has gone on sale

The official porcelain commemorating the life of the late Queen Elizabeth II has gone on sale and incorporates the King’s moving tribute to his mother.

Pieces from the Royal Collection Trust include mugs, teacups and saucers, a pill box and tea towels, and prices range from £25 to £65.

The articles feature the late monarch’s personal figure as Princess Elizabeth: an E beneath a crown, as well as the King’s moving words “May the flights of angels sing to your rest” from his televised address to the nation after of his death in September of last year. .

The quote Charles used from Shakespeare’s tragedy Hamlet is inscribed in gold lettering on the commemorative porcelain, which is also decorated with a pale pink bow, delicate gray motifs and the Queen’s funeral flowers.

Pieces include a mug, which costs £25, a pillbox at £40, a jug at £45, and a teacup and saucer priced at £70.

There’s also a tea towel, which costs £10.95, and a votive candle for £65.

All proceeds from the sales of the official range of porcelain and commemorative items go to The Royal Collection Trust charity.
