Chilling video shows woman strolling home from grocery store with her boyfriend just minutes before she meets horrific fate

Gruesome surveillance footage shows a man and his girlfriend walking back to his Seattle home carrying groceries, moments before he allegedly killed her.

Prosecutors said Andy Chu, 26, confessed to strangling his 25-year-old girlfriend Zoey Suyun He, who was visiting from Hawaii, before twisting her neck and holding her underwater in a bathtub while he was high on molly. KHON News reported.

The young woman’s battered body was found after a neighbor called the landlord after seeing water pouring from Chu’s apartment. When Seattle police and firefighters arrived, they made the gruesome discovery.

Chu was filmed walking out of a home in Lake City’s Olympic Hills neighborhood, 3000 Northeast 133rd Street, on August 10, the day after they both entered the home.

Friends took him to the UW Medical Center because he was acting “strange.” At the hospital, he allegedly assaulted a nurse and was arrested.

King County prosecutors charged Chu with first-degree murder and assault after he told detectives he “may have been responsible for her murder,” according to police.

Court documents revealed chilling details leading up to the alleged attack.

A neighbor filmed Chu with his Ring camera, which he gave to Seattle police.

A timestamp was shown of when the couple entered the apartment, which was August 9. Northwest Asian Weekly reported.

The man told detectives they had groceries with them and that he saw Chu leave the apartment alone the next morning.

When police and firefighters arrived, they found a bathtub full of water and a running sink in the bathroom.

According to police, she was found on her back with a cut on her neck and “an ice pack on her throat.”

Officials added that a small block was also placed behind her neck to support her head. They also noted that “there was no shower head on the pipe.”

According to authorities, Chu told police he had “a memory” of choking her, twisting her neck and holding her underwater in the bathtub. Police allege he said he thought he had broken her neck and “remembered her nose bleeding, which he wiped away.”

Chu also allegedly admitted to taking two Molly pills and smoking marijuana while hanging out with his girlfriend, Fox13 Seattle reported.
