Chilling new details emerge about horrific murder of family of four in New York – as cops arrest illegal migrant

An illegal immigrant has been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of a family of four in their upstate New York home.

Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano, 34, was arrested on Sept. 7 and charged with second-degree murder after allegedly using a “sharp object” in the fatal stabbings of the family in their Irondequoit home.

The charred remains of the family – identified as 30-year-old Fraime Ubaldo, 26-year-old Marangely Moreno-Santiago, four-year-old Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno and two-year-old Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno – were discovered in their burned-out home in the early morning of August 31, DailyMail.com previously reported.

Pimentel-Soriano, an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, where he is also wanted for another 2019 murder, entered Puerto Rico illegally and obtained a fake New York identification card, Irondequoit police said.

“That identification allowed him to travel freely from Puerto Rico to the continental United States,” officials said.

Investigators confirmed that the gruesome deaths that left veteran police officers shocked were murders after discovering stab wounds to the neck and chest of each victim, the New York Post.

Assistant District Attorney Perry Duckles said police are looking for a second person involved in the killings.

“I don’t think this was a random thing that happened. I do think there is a motive. What that motive is, we’re still looking into,” Duckles said. BAM.

Officials also say Pimentel-Soriano operated under the pseudonym Rafael Jose Vargas and had connections in Rochester.

In the days following the family’s murder, relatives and friends gathered to honor the deceased with an impromptu vigil with balloons and stuffed animals outside their Knapp Avenue home.

Irondequoit Town Supervisor Andrae Evans said days before the arrest, “Our condolences go out to the family, their friends and neighbors.

‘Because no one, no one deserves this. And whoever you are who did this, you will be brought to justice.’

Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters, a 32-year veteran of the force, was visibly shaken at a news conference, describing the scene as “the worst I’ve ever seen” and vowing to “bring these monsters to justice.”

According to the New York PostPimentel-Soriano is being held without bail in the Monroe County Jail and his case has been sent to a grand jury.
