Chilling moment deranged driver stalks man on bridge in near-death road rage attack
An out-of-control SUV driver has been arrested and charged after crashing his car into another car on a highway.
James Turner of New Liskeard, Ontario, Canada was driving on Highway 11 on January 6 when a 37-year-old man crashed his Toyota Rav 4 into the ER nurse’s Honda Accord.
Turner says he believed the suspect needed medical attention and stopped to help.
However, dashcam footage shows the unidentified man driving away, crashing his car into oncoming traffic and repeatedly crashing into the victim.
After his car was hit on the bridge, the nurse managed to escape and drive towards a police station in the city.
However, this did not deter the attacker and he drove his car into Turner’s again.
Officials eventually deployed a spike belt to stop the suspect’s vehicle.
“I used my headlights to say, hey, maybe stay on the road and take your eyes off your cell phone because I thought maybe they were texting and driving.

“And from there they tried to back up into me. That doesn’t go their way, so they turn around and swerve and try to push me into a bridge with a 200-foot drop into frozen water,” Turner said. CBC News.
The terrified nurse had already called 911 and reported the incident as he was being attacked.
The victim suffered sprains to his wrist and thumb. It is expected that his damaged car will be completely lost due to the collisions.
Since then, he has used a rental car and avoids turning on his headlights.
‘Now I want to make sure that people are aware that mental health is important.
OPP Provincial Const. Martin Thibault too commented: ‘We do have an incident of road rage that we deal with from time to time, but I would say this is an isolated incident and obviously this person had other issues as well.’
Police also used Turner’s dashcam video as evidence after he preserved the footage for legal proceedings.
The suspect faces multiple charges, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two charges of assault on a police officer and breach of recognizance.

However, this did not deter the attacker and he drove his car into Turner’s home again, near a local Tim Hortons.
This comes a week after a nine-year-old girl died when the car she was riding in was hit by an alleged robber who ran a red light in an attempt to avoid police.
Victoria Desjardins, her sister Madison, 12, and her mother Amanda Reitmeier were in their family car when a man driving a stolen car struck them in Calgary, Canada, causing a five-car crash.
After the accident, Victoria, Madison and Amanda were all taken to the hospital in critical condition. Victoria tragically died as a result of her serious injuries.
The suspected perpetrator, Duane Arlen Nepoose, 30, was arrested at the scene at the intersection of Southland Drive and Macleod Trail South.
