Chilling moment coldblooded assassin executes victim with gunshots to the head in front of horrified passengers in packed German train station

This is the shocking moment a cold-blooded assassin shoots a victim to death with gunshots to the head, in front of horrified passengers at a crowded German train station.

CCTV footage shows the 54-year-old suspect approaching the 27-year-old man from behind at around 9pm on August 20 at the busy central station in Frankfurt, in the German state of Hesse.

The suspect pulled out his gun and shot the victim in the head, causing him to fall to the ground as dozens of passengers, who witnessed the brutal attack, ran for their lives.

As his victim lay motionless on the ground, his killer approached and fired several more shots before attempting to flee and throwing the weapon aside.

Police caught the shooter a few meters away from the crime scene on a nearby platform and arrested him without resistance.

As his victim lay motionless on the ground, his killer approached and fired several more shots before attempting to flee, throwing the weapon aside.

The murder weapon, a pistol, was later found during a search of the station.

The station was closed to all train traffic for approximately 25 minutes until the police operation was completed.

Frankfurt am Main police said in a statement: “Help came too late for the 27-year-old, who died at the scene. Both men are Turkish citizens.”

Police are now investigating whether the two men knew each other and are trying to determine a possible motive for the shooting.

According to Turkish media, a bloody family feud between the Kurdish families of the 54-year-old suspect, who ran a kebab shop in Germany, and the 27-year-old victim was the reason for the attack.

The victim is said to have murdered a businessman in Antalya, Turkey, in May of this year, whom he held responsible for the murder of his brother in 2016. He then fled to Germany.

According to Turkish media, the businessman’s uncle tracked down the 27-year-old and killed him at the train station as an act of revenge.

Frankfurt Public Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Dominik Mies said: “The investigation is still in its early stages. I ask for your understanding that we cannot yet say anything about the motive or the relationship between the suspect and the victim.”

Police added: ‘The 54-year-old suspect will be brought before the investigating judge at the Frankfurt am Main District Court today by the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The Public Prosecutor’s Office will have to decide whether he will be remanded in custody.’
