Chilling moment Brazilian lawyer purchases food eaten by her ex-boyfriend’s father and grandmother before they died that authorities claim she POISONED
A newly released video revealed the moment a lawyer bought food at a supermarket that she allegedly used to poison and kill her ex-boyfriend's father and grandmother in Brazil.
Amanda Partata, 31, visited the store in the southern city of Goiania on Sunday and bought cheese bread, cakes, cookies and juice before returning to the hotel, Goiás civilian police said.
Partata then returned to her hotel and later visited the home of his ex-boyfriend's father, police officer Leonardo Pereira, 58, and his mother, Luzia Alves, 86.
She spent about three hours with the family and then returned to her hometown of Itumbiara.
A Brazilian supermarket security camera captured Amanda Partata shopping for the food she allegedly poisoned and fed to her ex-boyfriend's father and grandmother on Sunday, hours before they both died. Partata was arrested on Wednesday

Pereira called Partata to tell her that he and his mother had become ill and warned her that they had been vomiting and had diarrhea.
He urged her to seek care because she claimed she was pregnant. Pereira and Alves were rushed to a local hospital, where they died.
Carlos Alfama, head of the Goiás civil police, said investigators were still investigating whether Partata poisoned the food in her hotel room or in the victims' home.
'Different types of food were purchased. Even for a technical reason, it is more likely that the poison was administered in the juice, because the poison is easier to dissolve in the liquid medium,” Alfama said.
Partata was arrested on Wednesday at a clinic, where her family admitted her for psychiatric evaluation after she attempted to commit suicide.

Amanda Partata was arrested by Brazilian authorities in Goiania, Brazil, on Wednesday for the alleged murder of her ex-boyfriend's father and grandmother, both of whom died hours on Sunday after eating food she had poisoned.
Partata, who is suspected of double murder, dated Pereira's son for a month and a half before they broke up around June or July and did not accept the end of the relationship.
After the breakup, the woman told her ex-boyfriend she was pregnant and his family held a gender reveal party, revealing they were expecting a girl, Brazilian news outlet Metropoles reported.
A medical document provided to police by her lawyers during her arraignment hearing shows she is not pregnant.
Goiá's civil police are unsure whether Partata lied about her pregnancy and fabricated test results to prove she was pregnant, or whether she suffered a miscarriage.
Alfama said Partata harassed her ex-boyfriend and his family by sending threatening messages through six fake social media profiles.
She downloaded software on her mobile phone that blocked her mobile number and sent threatening text messages to her ex-boyfriend.
One time, Partata texted herself a message that said, “I'm going to kill you and your little friend.”
