A pediatric nurse has been arrested and charged with stalking a female politician after meeting her through a dating app.

The senior MP, whom Daily Mail Australia has declined to name, was allegedly stalked and harassed by Adrianne McKinney, 39, via the nurse’s mobile phone and the warmhoneyandmilk Instagram page after they met on Hinge.

Ms McKinney is also accused of stalking two other women and accessing the records of one of their private hospitals for the purpose of intimidation.

The former Randwick Children’s Hospital paediatric nurse has been sacked from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA) amid a police investigation.

Ms McKinney, who is from the Hunter Valley and moved to Sydney in 2016, is also accused of using her father’s email account to threaten and harass.

The alleged campaigns of stalking and intimidation of the three women took place between March 2022 and April 2024 in Sydney and in Tenambit, near Maitland.

Detectives first arrested Ms McKinney on April 17 in the Hunter Valley and charged her with seven alleged offences at Maitland police station.

In May, police filed seven more charges against her, including five of stalking.

She is accused of collecting data with the intention of committing a serious computer crime. Police have initiated AVOs on behalf of the three alleged victims.

The AVOs prevent Ms McKinney from going within 300 meters of Parliament House or entering the suburbs of the MP’s electorate, plus ten other suburbs or districts.

She also has no access to electronic devices that allow her to send messages and only has access to a ‘dumb’ phone.

The charges against her will be heard in separate courts in late July and early August.

The MP’s office said the politician would not comment on the matter.

Daily Mail Australia has asked NSW Health for a response.

Adrianne McKinney is not allowed to enter the outskirts of the MP's constituency nor is she allowed to come within 300 metres of Parliament House.
