A New Jersey child magician was arrested on porn charges and angry parents have demanded his politician ex-wife resign over knowledge.
Scott Morley was the owner of Morley’s Magic Theater in Butler, New Jersey, before he was arrested on May 15.
The former magician was charged with possessing photographs of child sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police found the disturbing images on his computer and discovered a girl’s underwear in his home.
Morley’s estranged ex-wife, Britni Morley, is now facing demands from seven local parents who want her to resign from her position on the Butler City Council.

An arrest affidavit claims Morley told police he had “approximately fifty questionable images” on his phone, but even more on other devices.
Disturbingly, he told police he “preferred the little ones.”
The affidavit also claims that he allegedly admitted to using the underwear, which was first found by the witness and later seized during a search warrant at Morley’s home, and the explicit images for self-gratification.
Morley also allegedly confessed to investigators that he had been collecting child pornography since 1996.
Scott and Britni split in February and filed for divorce in March – just a month before an alleged witness came forward in April.
The witness, who was hired to paint the theater at Morley’s Magic Shop, completed the job in 2022.
However, at some point during the project, the employee found a bag containing the girls’ underwear and several USB drives, according to an arrest affidavit.
The witness said Morley then took a hammer and smashed the USB drives – which Morley later admitted to during police questioning.
It is unclear why it took so long for the witness to come forward with the accusations.
Butler parents have accused Britni of knowing about her husband’s alleged disturbing behavior.
The outraged parents plan to speak out against Britni and demand her resignation at June 18, Butler’s next council meeting.
“My children attended the drop-off programs and we were tricked by Britni, who served our children up on a platter for Scott’s fantasies,” another mother told The Post.
‘I am outraged, shocked, saddened and angry. It was only because of his wife that I entrusted them with my daughter and son.
Another parent expressed concern that Morley could even have photos of her own children and others in the community.
“She is still on the council and still has access to children,” the mother said. “I’m not sure why she hasn’t been charged.”

“It was heartbreaking to learn more about Scott and his sick secrets,” said mother Candida Santee.
“I think a lot of us are so distraught about Britni and Scott’s actions and the lack of empathy towards the families.”
Britni’s divorce attorney, Andrew DeLaney, said his client was fully cooperative throughout the investigation.
“Any suggestion of wrongdoing on her part is baseless, disgusting and ultimately destructive to the criminal justice process,” he said. “We are trying to finalize the divorce so that my client can focus on raising her two children and providing for them financially and emotionally.”

Morley was released without bail. He is not allowed to use the internet and is not allowed to have contact with minors.
His lawyer, Robert Bianchi, said his “client maintains his innocence, and we are confident that the court saw fit to release him over the prosecutor’s objections.”
