Child star Mason Ramsey is seen driving Lamborghini seven years after viral yodeling video in Walmart
A former child star has wowed the internet after he was spotted driving around Los Angeles in a Lamborghini.
Mason Ramsey rose to fame overnight as an 11-year-old when he was filmed yodelling in Walmart, but seven years later he was almost unrecognizable behind the wheel of the $300,000 Huracan Evo Spyder.
Ramsey, from Golconda, Illinois, became known around the world when footage of him performing a rendition of Hank Williams’ Lovesick Blues in the superstore aisles hit the Internet.
He subsequently signed a contract with Atlantic Records, performed at Coachella and appeared on Ellen.
Now that he’s 18 years old, it looks like the singer has enjoyed the spoils of his viral moment, if his car is anything to compare to.
Ramsey, wearing large sunglasses and an orange shirt, was stopped by Instagram interviewer Daniel Mac while driving to a show at The Roxy.
Mac, who created the popular series What Do You Do For A Living? was initially perplexed as to how someone so young could afford the supercar before realizing who was behind the wheel.
“Wait, you’re the yodel kid?” asks an incredulous Mac, “Dude, now I feel old.” You’re a grown man, that’s crazy’.

Other viewers of the clip were equally astonished by Ramsey’s glow up.
“Wait, he’s the yodelling kid? Bruhhhh,” someone wrote on Instagram.
“Just to be sure, I need to see him in that old fit,” another added.
“Damn, I don’t recognize a twin,” said one, while others suggested he looked like the son of “Bill Gates” or a young Michael J Fox.
The conversation with Mac started after he pulled Ramsey aside and asked what he does for a living.
He told him that he is a country and that it was his yodelling thing back in 2018, but said he’s on tour now.
The singer then invited Mac into his car and the two continued the interview as they drove around LA.
“This wasn’t on my bucket list for 2024!” Mac said before asking how Ramsey was finding adjusting to his new-found fame.
“I was just singing in a Walmart and someone filmed me and it just went well and I didn’t know about it until a week later because I wasn’t really exposed to social media,” Ramsey explained.
After the video went live, Mac’s comments were flooded with appreciation for the wholesome exchange, which Ramsey also commented on.
‘It was so nice to meet you! You are always welcome in my car. Just don’t scare me like that anymore,” he joked.
