Child aims ‘GUN’ at terrified family who had just got home and pulled into their driveway, leaving them scared to live in their own suburb
A Brisbane family has been left scared to live in their own suburb after a terrifying encounter with a young teenager who pointed what appeared to be a gun at them.
Simrandeep Kuar and her husband were returning to their home in Holmview, in the city’s south, on Friday evening after taking their son to the park when the shocking encounter unfolded.
The family’s CCTV footage shows two teenagers in dark pants and hoodies walking down the street as the family pulls up in their white sedan.
When Mr. Kuar tried to get out of the car, the younger of the two teens pulled what appeared to be a gun from his pocket and pointed it directly at the car.
The father got back behind the wheel, closed the door and after a brief standoff, the child and his friend fled down the street on foot.
