A four-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after falling from the balcony of a western Sydney apartment.

Emergency services were called to Dressler Circuit in Holroyd following reports that a child had fallen from a second-story balcony at around 12:30pm on Thursday.

Paramedics treated the boy at the scene before taking him to Westmead Children’s Hospital for further treatment.

The boy remains in the hospital in stable condition.

It is unknown what injuries the young man sustained in the fall.
