Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. was forced out of their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after suffering a heavy fall on his right shoulder.
During the first quarter of Monday night’s game, Hardman produced a 33-yard punt return for the Chiefs before shipping a vicious tackle down the sideline.
The 26-year-old, who scored the game-winning touchdown in Kansas City’s second straight Super Bowl victory in February, appeared to fall heavily on his shoulder as he crashed to the ground.
After being in obvious pain, he walked straight down the tunnel and to the locker room, with his right arm hanging limp for further examination.
The Chiefs currently list him as questionable to return for Monday’s game.
