Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross allegedly physically assaulted his girlfriend and broke some of her belongings, while also causing damage to her car during an altercation that led to his arrest last month.

Prosecutors say police told them about the alleged attack that occurred Oct. 23 in Johnson County, Kansas, in court documents obtained by TMZ Sports.

The dispute between the NFL player and his partner started when he allegedly found out that he was being cheated on.

According to an affidavit related to Ross’ arrest, the new Chiefs became aggressive toward his girlfriend after snooping through her phone, the woman told police.

He not only pushed her, but also threw her to the ground and also started throwing objects at her.

The woman suffered no major injuries or bruises, but was seen with a “small scratch” on her hand after the incident, according to arrest documents.

Authorities also reported the woman’s story in which Ross broke her belongings during the encounter, including jewelry, a cell phone, laptop and a key to her Mercedes.

What’s more, two neighbors who claim to have witnessed the incident told police they saw the former Clemson player “run over the woman’s car with a knife.”

Documents also show that Ross told police he actually threw his girlfriend’s belongings out the door after learning about her infidelity.

He allegedly admitted to breaking one of her computers, even though he claimed it was his, but denied breaking any of her other belongings, according to arrest documents.

Ross was eventually arrested over the allegations and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage, banning him from Chief’s training and matches for the foreseeable future.

He is scheduled to appear in court on December 4 after pleading not guilty to all charges during a hearing on October 24.

Ross was also placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List on October 27, meaning his football career has come to an end for the time being. He will still be able to attend Chiefs meetings while his criminal case is heard.

To date, Ross has played in just seven NFL games, catching three passes from Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.
