Behind an ill Travis Kelce – and in the presence of Taylor Swift once again – the Chiefs beat the Broncos 19-8 on Thursday Night Football.
After injuring his ankle against the Vikings last weekend, Kelce wasn’t sure if he would play in this divisional clash.
But the tight end battled through pain to lead Kansas City with nine catches and 124 receiving yards – giving his new buddy plenty to celebrate.
His quarterback Patrick Mahomes totaled 306 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception, completing 75 percent of his passes.
The win brought the defending champion Chiefs to 5-1 while the Broncos improved to 1-5.

Kansas City never trailed in this one, as they entered halftime with a 13-0 lead and held on in the second half.
Although it was a strong night for Kelce, it was a night to forget for Russell Wilson and the Broncos offense.
The quarterback threw for just 94 yards and was sacked twice as Denver didn’t score a touchdown until the fourth quarter.
But morale was higher for the home team, as Swift and Brittany Mahomes — Patrick’s wife — shared a hug as their loved ones combined for a 19-yard gain in the first half.
