Chick-fil-A launches new menu items… but customers fume that they’re not available everywhere
Chick-fil-A has excited fans by launching some brand new menu items, but they’re only available at select locations.
The exclusive new items are only available at Truett’s Chick-fil-A locations, reported the New York Post.
Truett’s Chick-Fil-A restaurants can be found throughout Georgia and are special locations that celebrate the life and legacy of the chain’s founder, Truett Cathy.
Truett’s locations first opened in 2017 and offer a special Chick-fil-A menu, including new items banana pudding, sweet potato soufflé and sweet potato waffle fries.
Also included in the list of twelve new options are baked peach pie, tropical nuggets, tropical chicken minis, fried okra and crispy Brussels sprouts.
The fourteen special locations have also launched new drinks, including cran-lime lemonade, frosted pineapple, pineapple nut milkshake and frosted Hawaiian.
‘My Christmas wish would be that CFA sees that we would like to have these kinds of options at all CFA locations!’ wrote food blogger Snoackbetch on Instagram.
Other Chick-fil-A fans were more frustrated, with one saying, “Why can’t we get tropical minis and banana pudding, this is a shame.”

“So annoyed they won’t do this nationally,” wrote another.
“Give us all of them across the country,” a third agreed.
Chick-fil-A has been trying to meet the demands of its customers and recently brought back the beloved Banana Pudding Milkshake after thirteen years.
The milkshake contains the Chick-Fil-A ‘Icedream dessert’, banana and vanilla waffle cookies, a topping of whipped cream and a cherry.
“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to family reunions or talked to someone at the store who found out I work at Chick-fil-A: ‘When is that banana pudding milkshake coming back?’ Chick-fil-A chef Christy Cook told USA Today at the time.
“When I think of banana pudding, I think of family reunions and community and something where I get together with friends, and that’s what we want to convey with this shake,” Cook said.

Chick-Fil-A also introduced a new version of its hit Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich on the same day as the Banana Pudding Milkshake.
The sandwich is a spicier brother of the original, which was introduced last year to rave reviews from consumers.
