Chick-Fil-A fan favorite is coming back for the first time in 13 years

A Chick-Fil-A favorite is back on menus for the first time in 13 years.

The fast food chain is relaunching its beloved Banana Pudding Milkshake on August 26.

The milkshake contains the Chick-Fil-A ‘Icedream dessert’, banana-vanilla waffle cookie crumbs, whipped cream and a cherry.

The return is for a limited time, while supplies last. No date has been set, but other limited Chick-Fil-A items typically last about ten weeks.

You can order this delicious treat from selected stores and have it delivered online.

Limited items at Chick-Fil-A are usually available for about 10 weeks

“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to family reunions or talked to someone in the store who finds out I work at Chick-fil-A and wondered, ‘When is that Banana Pudding Milkshake coming back?'” Chick-fil-A executive chef Christy Cook told USA Today.

“When I think of banana pudding, I think of family reunions, community, and things where I get together with friends, and that’s what we want to convey with this shake,” Cook said.

On the same day as the Banana Pudding Milkshake, Chick-Fil-A is also introducing a new version of its hit Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich.

The sandwich is the spicy brother of the original, which was launched last year to rave reviews from consumers.

“It’s really about building on the original without dumbing it down,” Stuart Tracy, senior lead culinary developer at Chick-fil-A, told USA Today.

“A lot of customers wanted to customize it with a spicy fillet instead of our original fillet,” Tracy said.

“That’s been my secret favorite for a long time. I just like spicier stuff.”

The new sandwich features a spicy fillet, mildly pickled jalapeños, pimento cheese and a honey drizzle on a toasted bun.
